Services

Independent from the first draft to the final debrief.

Three services, one aim: a decision your organization can defend and the people affected can accept.

Fairness advisory

An independent fairness advisor alongside your team, from the first draft of the RFP to the last debrief. I don't slow you down. I help you avoid the problems that would.

Call me when: the procurement is high value, politically sensitive, likely to be challenged, or simply needs to be seen to be fair.

  • Before posting. Review of the RFP, evaluation criteria and process for gaps a challenger would find.
  • While it's open. Review of questions, answers and addenda so every bidder gets the same information.
  • During evaluation. Evaluator briefing, monitoring of scoring and consensus, and real-time advice.
  • After award. A written fairness report, support in debriefs, and independent review if a bid dispute arises.

Facilitation

A neutral chair for the moments where trust is won or lost. The hardest part of any process is rarely the paperwork. It's the conversation.

Call me when: your team is stuck, the room is divided, or you need someone independent to run a meeting people will judge as fair.

On any one procurement, I act as either the facilitator or the fairness advisor, never both.

  • Requirements and criteria workshops. Bringing stakeholders to agreement on what they need and how proposals will be judged, before the RFP is written.
  • Consensus sessions. Guiding evaluation teams to a consensus every member can defend, documented step by step.
  • Vendor and stakeholder meetings. Information sessions and market sounding that treat every participant the same.
  • Difficult debriefs. Explaining a result to a bidder who lost, so they leave understanding why.
  • Contentious meetings. Sessions where several parties need to be heard before a decision is made.

Training

Practical sessions that help teams on both sides of the table understand the same rules.

Call me when: you want your team to run defensible processes on their own, or you want more suppliers bidding well.

  • For buyers. Evaluator training, writing defensible RFPs, and handling difficult vendor conversations.
  • For suppliers. Open bid-readiness workshops on how public procurement and evaluation work. General sessions only, never tied to a specific competition.
  • Format. Half-day or full-day sessions, in person or online, tailored to your organization.

Not sure which you need? Tell me about the process and we'll work it out together.
